Freaking out

My sister has been pregnant with her second child since August. She’s only 29 and a half weeks pregnant. She hasn’t had the easiest of pregnancies. Her first child, my nephew Diego, was born at 33 weeks. So this time around she was considered a high risk pregnancy, very likely for baby number 2 to be premature as well. A couple weeks ago she had pretty bad contractions and other labor like symptoms and they went to the emergency room. She was in labor, but they were able to stop it. Since then she’s been put on bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy.

She woke up this morning not feeling well. They left for the hospital a couple hours ago. I’m here babysitting Diego by myself. My brother in law just texted that she’s in labor and they can’t stop it this time :’(

I can’t help but panic a little. It’s too soon. He’s too little. I just want both of them to come out okay. I love my sister so very, very much. And little Mateo too, even though I haven’t met him yet. 

I hope they’re okay and all this worry will have been for nothing.
