But my friends on facebook that don’t have a tumblr won’t get to hear the story of my day in detail like you will. Because I know you guys care hahaha
This morning I tried to run some errands in Brooklyn because well I’m here for a few days, but it went so TERRIBLY that I said SCREW THIS, I’M GOING INTO THE CITY.
Best. Decision. EVER.
I went all the way up to East Harlem because I felt like it. God knows it was out of the way, but I know my way around up there so that’s where I went. When I was walking up to the ATM on 116th I noticed that there was the beginnings of a block party being set up. I made the decision that after I finished the rest of my errands I would come back to the block party and at least eat something.
I was there for a couple hours. It was awesome :D There was all kinds of fun little nick-nacks for sale, as you can see from my newly purchased flag. I had delicious food and delicious drinks and there were my fellow Mexican everywhere and I wish they had those every weekend because I WOULD BE THERE.
The only thing that would have made the day better was if I’d had my camera. Oh well. It was still a booming success in the grand scheme of things :)

Now all I need is for someone to really commit to that 2nd ticket and life will be even more grand!
just got a call from work saying i don’t have to go in after all. it’s a christmas miracle :D

i had a job interview today. my outfit was cute. but my hair was a mess. hopefully they balanced each other out
i got some new glasses a few weeks ago. it’s nice to be able to see again
a picture of yours truly. solely because my hair is voluminous for no reason today
